All comments, feedback, information or materials submitted to African Shop through or in association with this website shall be considered non-confidential. By submitting any of such information to African Shop, you agree to a no-charge assignment to African Shop of worldwide rights to use, copy, modify, display and distribute the submissions. African Shop may use such information in any way it chooses in an unrestricted basis.
We may update all the terms from time to time. The changes will apply to the use of the Site immediately it has been updated. If you do not wish to accept the new Terms you should not continue to use the Site and the Online Stores.
African Shop ensures you receive all purchases in right condition and timely.
All orders are dispatched immediately subject to availability. We target to dispatch within 24-48 hours (1 – 2 working days).
For any reason the items are out of stock and we cannot meet the projected time, customers would immediately be notified.
Upon delivery of the order, we require a signature confirming item received. (Please arrange for alternative of someone else to receive the order and sign if you not available).
We currently deliver for free in the following location subject to the minimum order as follows:
- Dubai – AED150
- Sharjah – AED300
- Ajman – AED400
- Abu Dhabi – AED500 (Delivery only Every Tuesday)
- Ras Al Khamiah and Al Ain – AED1000
Delivery charges would apply depending on the actual Orders and delivery location(outside the stated above).
Returns and Cancellation Policy
Our Return and Cancellation policy allows you to cancel an order should you think you do not require the item any longer. This must be done at the earliest possible time after the order was placed and you must inform us immediately by phone and email.
You can return items within 14 days order was placed for a full refund.
Refund would be processed if the item has not been damaged in anyway or taken out of any form of its packaging.
All purchases are covered by our “guarantee to supply you fresh and quality products or your money back”.
Always check all orders once received to ensure they are in good expected condition.
If you think the Order (item) received is not in good condition, send us an email informing us immediately and ensure returned within 3 days of receipt for your full refund.
For perishable like Yams, Plantains, Okra and others, African Shop would not be able to accept them back for a refund unless informed of the issue immediately the order is received.
If customer decides to return on their terms, delivery charges would not be refunded should African Shop discretionally decide to refund on the Order itself.
When wrong delivery address is provided by customer when placing the order, the cost of attempted delivery would not be refunded. If the Order is perishable, we will not be able to refund the cost of the order itself as it cannot not be resold any longer.
When Orders processed to overseas destination are returned by customs because the customer did not pay the charges when applicable, we would not be responsible for the delivery charges incurred and will only refund the value of any item returned. Payment of customs charges are the responsibility of the customer.
